Wanna play dress up?

Nana found this dress at the local thrift store on Thursday for a $1 and we decided that it would go perfectly with the bridal veil she had in the dress up trunk. Here are Kelsey AND Christian both trying it on. We had to bribe Christian a bit but it gave mom and I a good laugh. Then of course we have to have one of Caeleb just because.

Crazy Monday

Today was a crazy day for me. Jason is sick and has been for 6 days now, involving 3 different trips to the Emergency Room this past weekend, the last one being this morning where they finally gave him some scripts for meds to take home. Here is hoping that they help him turn the corner on this dang illness.

Caeleb has been extra fussy/gassy lately so that leaves me hardly any free time it seems as he wants to be held all the time.

Kelsey goes in tomorrow for her 8 year old well child check up, hard to believe that she is going to turn 8 next week.

Christian is well, Christian, need I say more. He is so funny and cracks us up on a daily basis.

I do have new pics from Easter just have not had a chance to download them and realized that none were taken of Caeleb, just the older 2 and my father. Oh well, at least we got pictures of them.

Off to play Supermom and make dinner, get the kids backpacks ready for tomorrow, feed the kids dinner, clean up after dinner, get the kids ready for bed and then pass out myself. Don't forget to add in there taking care of Caeleb and a sick husband.

An update on Caeleb

Lets just say that he is growing and changing like crazy! The jaundice is slowly clearing up and he is starting to look less and less yellow every day. At this past Wednesdays weight checked he weighed in at 7lbs. 6oz. so eating is not really a problem. He is battling with some gas issues that make him extra fussy at times but we are slowly working those out. Here are some new pics from yesterday of him.

My mom and I got the joy today of going to spend about an hour in Christian's school while they did there Easter Egg Festival. They had different stations set up in the gym that they could move between including: Egg Drop, Easter Egg Dying, Making Chocolate Baskets with Peeps in them and Coloring an Egg. Christian's egg managed to make it thru the egg drop without breaking, one of the very few that this occured with.

Thanks grandparents and Aunt Renee...

Here I am in my new bouncer from Mimi and Grandpa with a little help from Aunt Renee and on my new playmat from Grandma and Grandpa Huber. I love both of them, the bouncer is at my house and the playmat at Nana and Papa's house.

Here is a rare one of me with the 3 kids the next day

Happy News from yesterday

So I get on the scale at my moms house yesterday before getting in the shower and it reads 166lbs. I don't believe the number so I re-weigh myself 3 different times all coming up with the same thing. This means that since delivering Caeleb I have lost a total of 18lbs!!!! This puts me at less then what I started out at in the beginning of my pregnancy! Whoo hoo! Go me! Gotta love the benefits of breastfeeding huh?

Some new pics

Here are some new pics taken last night of the kids, they are so happy that there baby brother is home and doing well. The one of him in the blue outfit is the day that we came home from the hospital, Kelsey took that one of him and it happens to be one of my favorites.

Monday Monday Monday

Need I say more. We have had a whirlwind of a weekend, Caeleb was admitted on Friday night to the hospital due to his bili levels being too high with the jaundice. After spending all night Friday and half the day Saturday under the lights we were able to get his level under control and came home late Saturday evening. He is doing well now after another re-check yesterday as the numbers keep going down. Tomorrow he has a weight check and I am sure another bili check.

Welcome to my world!

After much prodding and poking from my sister I have decided to create a blog about our family, especially since we have a new baby boy that I know all of you are going to want to read about. Give me a few days to get the hang of this and maybe it won't be so boring!
